Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the hundreds of naturally occurring compounds found in the hemp plant.  CBD is closely related to another cannabinoid, Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).  THC is the compound that induces the euphoria or “high” experienced by cannabis consumers.  CBD does not have this same psychoactive effect.
